SMART LEARNING ECOSYSTEM

The RE-MIND Smart Learning Ecosystem is a digital learning environment designed to strengthen the skills and capacities of museum professionals in mindful engagement, digital wellbeing, and intergenerational audience development.

The Ecosystem will provide free, personalised and accessible learning opportunities through an interactive online platform. It will bring together five self-paced learning modules, multimedia resources, interactive activities, assessments, and progress tracking, creating a flexible learning experience that can respond to different professional roles and individual learning needs. The platform will include videos, audio guides, quizzes, simulations and other interactive elements, with accessibility and multilingual use at its core.

The learning programme covers key areas of the Mindful Museum approach, including the core principles of the Mindful Museum, mindfulness techniques in educational programming, digitally balanced visitor journeys, mindful communication for diverse audiences, and leadership for mindful innovation in museums.

A central feature of the Ecosystem is its micro-credentialing and institutional endorsement framework. Museum professionals who successfully complete the training will be able to earn micro-credentials and individual badges, while organisations that successfully integrate RE-MIND practices into their operations and staff development can receive institutional recognition through the Mindful Museum label.

Through this combination of learning, assessment, recognition and institutional endorsement, the RE-MIND Smart Learning Ecosystem aims to make new professional competencies transferable, recognisable and applicable in real museum contexts.
