RE-MIND Project Officially Launched: Shaping the Future of Mindful Museum Experiences

We are delighted to announce the official launch of the RE-MIND project – A Mindfulness-Based Capacity-Building Model for Digital Wellbeing and Intergenerational Audience Engagement in Museums.

The project officially began with a kick-off meeting held in Rome, Italy, on 16–17 April, bringing together representatives from 11 partner organizations across Italy, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Poland. The meeting marked the start of a collaborative European initiative dedicated to reimagining how museums engage with audiences in an increasingly digital world.

Over the course of the two-day meeting, project partners discussed the project's vision, objectives, planned activities, expected outcomes, and implementation timeline. The consortium also defined the roles and responsibilities of each partner and established the first steps for the successful delivery of the project.

RE-MIND seeks to develop an innovative "Mindful Museum" model that integrates mindfulness practices, calm technology, and intergenerational co-creation to enhance digital wellbeing and foster more meaningful, inclusive, and engaging museum experiences. By empowering museums with new methodologies and tools, the project aims to strengthen their capacity to connect with diverse audiences while promoting healthier and more mindful interactions with digital technologies.

As the project moves forward, the partnership will work closely to develop practical resources, pilot innovative approaches, and share knowledge across Europe, contributing to a more inclusive, accessible, and digitally balanced cultural sector.

We are excited about the journey ahead and look forward to sharing the project's progress, achievements, and impact in the months to come. Stay tuned for updates as RE-MIND begins shaping the future of mindful and engaging museum experiences across Europe.
